About Us
That Was Then
After graduating with a degree in design from UC Berkeley, Susanne Clarke and her husband, Brad, founded Scarab Glass Works in 1976.
We offered Central California a major source of stained glass supplies and classes in many facets of art glass. Our specialty was the custom design and production of stained glass for homes, churches and commercial projects, all in this “iconic” Fresno building.
After nearly 45 years in business, we have downsized to a small studio in central Fresno, continuing to offer the expertise and devotion to quality we have garnered over the years in custom leaded glass, restoration, repair and hot glass work, such as kiln fired painting, torch beads and fusing.
